Leslie “Coach C” Trujillo, M.A., is an Athletic Performance and Mindset Coach, developing Champions in all areas of their life. She hosts an online training studio called "Respect the Reps" where she helps fuel people's bodies and minds for life!
She is also a Kinesiology/Health Professor/Strength Coach at Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC). Leslie has trained Heisman Trophy winners, All-Americans, and National Championship teams at LMU, Notre Dame, University of Southern California, and at The Yard Performance Center. She has worked with hundreds of high school basketball and volleyball athletes at various schools in the South Bay: Redondo Union, West Torrance, Mira Costa, Torrance and Rolling Hills Prep. Coach C has been a part of many CIF Championships and two State Championship teams. Leslie is the host of The Developing Athlete Podcast and the co-author of the book, DEAR HER: Letters to teenage girls and young ladies on lessons learned through education, athletics, and life. She has her B.S. in Exercise Science from UNM, M.A. in Education from LMU, M.A. in Kinesiology: Sports Management from CSULB, and her Certificate in Sport Psychology from SDUIS. She played Division I tennis at UNM. Leslie is a Master Trainer with ZHealth Performance, specializing in movement, the nervous system, and vision training. She was awarded the Todd Durkin Fitness Professional of the Year Award in 2019. Leslie is also the director of the CHAMPS program at LAHC to help student-athletes succeed in academics and athletics. She was voted Star Instructor of the year by the students. Leslie lives in the South Bay area of southern California. She is married to Jake Trujillo and they have two amazing kids, Mateo and Anhelica. |
